Inclined Designs was born in 2008 from a creative impulse and an uncensored soul.

Originally launched as Hey Baby! Boutique, the brand began with handmade pieces for infants—appliqué tees, tutus, and thoughtful gifts created during the earliest chapters of motherhood. What started small quickly evolved, expanding into children’s apparel, accessories for new and expectant parents, and meaningful, everyday items designed with heart and intention.

As the brand matured, so did its voice. Adult apparel and Pittsburgh-inspired designs naturally found their way into the collection, prompting a pivotal rebrand in 2017. Inclined Designs emerged as both a nod to the maker’s hometown pride and a tribute to the city’s iconic inclines—symbolizing movement, resilience, and creative ascent.

Today, Inclined Designs stands as a celebration of creativity without filters. Grounded in community, collaboration, and authenticity, the brand invites its audience into the creative process—often sharing new ideas on social media before they ever go to print. Customer feedback is not an afterthought; it’s part of the design language.

Community engagement remains central to the brand’s ethos. Inclined Designs proudly partners with local sports teams, school bands, nonprofits, and grassroots organizations to create custom apparel and goods that help fundraise, connect, and tell meaningful stories.

The current product line is a curated mix of apparel and everyday items infused with personality and place. A standout favorite is Burgh Bits, a custom fabric design commissioned in 2015 and illustrated with beloved Pittsburgh icons—parking chairs, pierogi, bridges, keystones, and ketchup bottles—offering customers playful, wearable ways to express hometown pride.

Behind the scenes, the founder balances motherhood, a career in the steel industry, and a deep commitment to mentorship. As Operations Manager for I Made It! Market, she supports and uplifts emerging makers while sharing over a decade of hard-earned experience to help others build sustainable, authentic businesses.
